Thank you for visiting. This blog had moved to 59ideas.com.
Since moving back behind the Great Fire Wall, updating this blog had became a pain and hasten the decision to cut over to my own domain as soon as possible.
Things are still a little unstable over at 59ideas.com as I figure out how to handle WordPress myself. The theme still need to be updated.
All entries had been exported and imported. Comments however will remain here. (Oh, I have not forgotten the comments on this entries. If you want a free domain, take a look.)
So, come on over!

This blog is now at 59ideas.com.
I’m still waiting for a Google Analytic account to peek at what’s inside. But that’s now what I’m going to talk about.
I am talking about the question I asked when I saw this post.
Google, if you recall, brought Urchin early last year which became Google Analytics later that year.
Few days ago, Google blogged they just brought MeasureMap.
No wonder searches for “MeaureMap” started showing up the past couple of days. People must be searching for what Measure Map is all about.
I once questioned how is MeasureMap going to stay around with Google Analytic. Guess I got the answer. If you can’t beat them, join them.
This is a one smart move by the people within MeasureMap. What is the insider story like? Did they planned for this along? Who approach who?
Someone like to spill some beans?

Barely more than a month on WordPress and the Great Fire Wall of China kicks in. It was reported much earlier of course, but I was back in Singapore for holiday.
Nothing too exciting about it. When you live in China long enough, you learn to deal with it, like making this post with proxy.
This ban happened soon than I had expected. WordPress was meant to be a stepping board so that I do not have to deal with the backend system until later. (The original plan was to achieve a daily traffic of 200 unique visitors before moving.)
So here are my choices - I could continue to post with proxy that or I could move to my own hosting.
I decided to take this chance and make the move. Over the next few days I will be setting up 59ideas.com.
From 0 to independence will stay on WordPress for a while. Best Blog on WordPress will of course stay on WordPress.

Researching PHP file manager. Planning to integrate some tools together into a site management backend that will consist of filemanager, database (only phpmyadmin?), blog (likely wordpress), wiki, forum, photo gallery and link directory. Probably the most common set of applications for websites.

Looking at a few things today.
Digging for more blogs for Best Blog on WordPress. Potential blogs are tagged for-bestblog. So instead of just keeping them as draft, they get a little exposure.
Looking also at some affiliate marketing information and getting some information from the forums at abestweb.
Lastly some random surfing on security.
